Alexander Kirkeby is a masterful glassblower and designer whose work explores the tension between function and form. Grounded in tradition yet driven by experimentation, his practice is defined by unexpected tactile experiences and a distinct, contorted aesthetic. Through a deep engagement with materiality and method, he creates singular glass objects that are both purposeful and expressive.

Kirkeby holds a BA in Design from The Royal Danish Academy of Art, School of Design. He lives and works in Aarhus, Denmark. Born in 1992.
