Large Vase D'Avril
Taking cues from the Japanese art of 'Ikebana', the Large Vase d'Avril features an interlocking zinc coated metal frame, connecting 12 blown glass tubes. Its adaptable geometry inspires the creative display of stems. The rawness of the materiality stands in elegant contrast to the delicate stems it showcases as a perfect circle, ondulating shapes or dismantled into sections.
Created in 1991, the Vase d'Avril is a marker of its time, included the Musée d'Art Moderne G.Pompidou's permanent design collection since 1997.
Due to their delicate nature, it is recommended to gently wash this piece by hand, refraining from placing it in the dishwasher.
